They did come to the community by discussing it on IRC, the kde mailinglist and news.opensuse.org.
IRC is for fast typists, where many don't feel right, including me kde mailing lists is yet another pile of mail lists; I have to reduce even openSUSE, to be able to follow, but it can be done news.opensuse, org is not place that everyone is visiting; bugs.kde.org is yet another bugzilla and login to forget. While I do understand that developers can't chase information on all available media where users post their problems, there is thousands of them, the same is valid for users. KDE mail lists seems to be good place for all using KDE, but there is small catch, that I picked up one day on IRC, KDE guys don't want to deal with distro customizations, which is also understandable. So, what have openSUSE KDE users available for discussion, opensuse-kde mail list and IRC. As time is passing, I'm more for central place for openSUSE <whatever-package- is> discussions and bug reports. Novell/SUSE Packagers can ask for help, but at the end of the day they have to be liaisons between their package development community and openSUSE community, which includes following openSUSE mail lists, forums, and upstream communication media. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
