I wonder if anyone can share his/her experience with 10 Gigabit Ethernet running on OpenSuse?
It is like 10GE on any LINUX/UNIX.
Details like the make and model of host adapter, interface, any special linux kernel needed, 10G Ethernet switches,
Nothing special; just supported hardware and it works like 1GE only much faster. Of course you need a fast machine with 64-bit PCI [PCI-E / PCI-X? I get all the PCIs these days mixed up] to get your money's worth.
and the throughput will be very useful.
