Giving equal billing to Microsoft owned technology to more public technologies is not a great way to get support on a Linux forum. ie. C# and VB both come out of Microsoft and as far as I know MS totally controls them both. I doubt if I'm the only one that found reference to them on this list annoying.
Just to avoid a flame war developing - MS does own VB. They are trying to rid the world of VB but many developers are causing a stir and trying their best to ensure continued support from the borg. C# - cough - java++ - cough - was developed by MS but was long ago submitted to the ECMA as open source along with the CLI runtime engine. Anybody can write in C# or create their own C# runtime. Evolution, F-Spot, Beagle and a few other apps carried by SUSE run AFAIK under the linux C# a.k.a. mono. -- kai www.perfectreign.com linux - genuine windows replacement part
