Hi list,
- in Konquerer, under the menu Tools you may hit F4 to open a terminal. - in our one-machine, multiuser setup, we wish to take away that feature. - how can we do that?
You can turn off the shortcut in settings -> configure shortcuts, but anyone can just turn it back on, unless you restrict that with kiosk.
- I know of Kiosktool and the possibility to forbid shells altogether, but this feature also voids us from running login scripts...
AFAIK you should be able to run login scripts if you configure kiosk appropriately. If you want to stop people accessing terminal at all it sounds like you do want kiosk http://techbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Administration/Kiosk/Keys indicates there's an autostart key. -- Benjamin Weber -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
