That's another problem...setup doesn't want to work at all, leaving me "hung" in X after it's use.
Fred,
Is it you box that is having problems with a Matrox Millenium II ? Please try the demo at <A HREF="http://www.xig.com"><A HREF="http://www.xig.com</A">http://www.xig.com</A</A>> as it will work great with Milleniums. I use it happily.
No, it a deffinate problem with the drivers. 'Reminds me of the grief we went through with S3 and getting proper drivers for OS/2, in the "early days."<g> I don't have the commercial server, so those drivers are "out." 'Guess I'll have to wait for better drivers from SuSE.
Have you upgraded the bios on your Matrox card lately? If not, go to their web site and do so. I have the 4MB card here and it works fine.
'Works fine now....had to "go around the horn" to get there, but it's fine now. Thanks, Fred -- Fred A. Miller, Systems Administrator Cornell Univ.
