When the panel toolbox is open (click its cashew), hovering a widget makes a tab pop out with the same controls (close + configure) as on the desktop widgets. I thought that this non-compliance may only be the characteristic of the new widget I installed but, NO, all the others that I have all behave in the same manner :-( .
