Hello,
I downloaded the MiX X-Server for Windows and am now trying to connect to my SuSE Linux X-Server, but can't seem to figure it out. I followed the instructions for the MiX setup but it doesn't connect. It just comes up with it's default Window Manager.
Has anybody experience with this software, and if they got it going can
share their secrets?
I basically want to use a free version of an X-Server for Windows, so
Nope, I did found out that x-Win 32 is quiet good, and the Chammelion X-server is superb. Try ordering or downloading one of them for a trial version. (No hassle configuration, that is what we want). ---------- they that I
can do remote management from my Windows machine and the MiX server allowed me this luxury (although I don't call working under Windows a luxury). Is there any other X-Servers for Windows that come as free? (I guess I get what I paid for if it doesn't work! ;-) ).
Thanks.
Brian Armstrong.
