After i created the scrpit i did as su: chmod -x Sync (where as I called the script "Sync") and then ln -s /etc/init.d/Sync /etc/init.d/rc0.d/K10Sync ln -s /etc/init.d/Sync /etc/init.d/rc6.d/K10Sync The profile of unison includes syncing two local folders of my home user. I'll attempt to explain further: You injected a custom script into the boot process and it has apparently damaged your system.
