Well, for either one, the way to "correct" the problem is to remove one drive, leaving the one with the copy you believe to be correct. Then add the drive back, and wait for the mirroring to catch up. If you have a drive hardware issue, the mirror will not work, and you'll need to replace the faulty drive.
