I even filed bug report on some issue with USB (stick or drive) that disappeared after next boot, and I was not able to reproduce it ever after.
It was bug, but I removed some files that were left in /media directory and that cured the problem. Later I tried hard to find steps to reproduce problem, but there was so many options that I gave up at the end.
Interesting. I just looked in /media (I don't have the usb stick in right now) and see only a directory - xmms_audio_cd - listed. This really isn't that big a deal. After all, the workaround is to copy the files to the local drive > compress > copy back. As it is, I hadn't even noticed this lil bug until yesterday and have been using SUSE with USB sticks since 2004, when I dropped Mandrake for not being able to load USB devices. :P -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
