Hi, I spent a hours fiddling with various programs trying to get my Fuji FinePix 2600 working in such a way as to allow me to edit/copy, etc., pictures. I then realised that with USB hotplug working a little icon to a device called /media/sda1 suddenly appeared when I plugged the camera in and switched it on. I can now edit/copy/print, etc., pictures using gimp, etc. Might be worth trying... Andy On Tuesday 23 September 2003 10:36, Nik wrote:

I had a similar problem with an A60 and the PTP driver. I now use a newer cvs version of gphoto2, which has dedicated drivers for the A60 & A70, and I can download images fine.
