Its a ZyXEL ISDN Extenal (dials like a modem(at command set))
It has full support for the at command set, and it is not much different than the stock 2.2 shipped with the kernel. I am not sure about how it does with ISDN ... or cable modems - I just know it works quite well with USRs, 28.8's and 33.6's. I have it on machines at <A HREF="http://netd.fastrans.net"><A HREF="http://netd.fastrans.net</A">http://netd.fastrans.net, a 33.6 conn, and at <A HREF="http://netd.evcom.net"><A HREF="http://netd.evcom.net</A">http://netd.evcom.net at 28.8 ... both machines are about 1500 miles apart ... -tks- -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
