This could be related to the fact that if you had my GTK etc packages installed on 8.2, the 9.0 installer may not have realised that it should install the newer versions If you do rpm -q atk glib2 gtk2 pango what do you see? (Of course, it may be nothing to do with that ;) )
It seems my gnome libs have been scrambled. After upgrade-install of 9 pro, with the new /opt/gnome-only hierarchy, I am get relocation errors on every gtk and gtk2 based program.
