i assume that sl2 is the SLIP interface. anyway, i have SLIP compiled into the kernel (linefill/keepalive=Y). what is module tap0 . . . 15? is this the reason why my connection is being cut off?
from /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt: " 27 char QIC-117 tape 16 = /dev/tap0 First Ethertap device 31 = /dev/tap15 16th Ethertap device" I doubt it is the reason your connection is being cut off.
