None of VMware's pre-built vmmon modules is suitable for your running kernel. Do you want this script to try to build the vmmon module for your system (you need to have a C compiler installed on your system)? [yes]
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] ---------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the fix for this problem folks ? Linux papa 2.2.16 #1 Wed Aug 2 20:22:26 GMT 2000 i686 unknown
It's not really an error. I had the same thing with the latest version of VmWare on my install. Just use the defaults, and it will build it quite nicely. I am using the stock SuSE 7 kernel too. VMWare does have a specific build for SuSE but it is an older version in 6.4. It will build nicely Dee. Depending on your install, I use Konquerer to transfer files between the systems.. VMWare will set it all up using a virtual Samba, etc. They really did a nice job on it. . -- Best regards, Gary Today's thought: Chaos, panic, pandemonium - my work here is done.
