Hi all, I have seen a comment or two on this list concering SiS chipset
pros & cons. So what do you think of the SiS chipset motherboards? Like them, don't like them? Does Linux like them or not? Thanks for your comments.
I'm not sure about the 5513, but the sis6328 AGP video chipset which comes integrated with some motherboards is not working well with the new X servers. The chipset usually comes with 8 meg video ram, but because of adressing problems, the X-server will only be able to use 1 meg. Although the chipset does work well, I would avoid sis agp video.
