Hi! The dependencies I had are now ok but ... Ximian Desktop seems good and I would want to try it but it tells me that a lot of packages (KDE packages) will be removed. Why that?? I don't want it. Is it possible to install Ximian Desktop and to keep KDE? How? Thanks a lot

Hi!
When I try to install Ximian desktop from the website, I follow the procedure and I have a problem that I don't know what to do. I got this message and I can't install Ximian. What I must do
Dependency Failure Package dependencies could not be completely resolved and Ximian GNOME cannot be installed on your system. <snip>
Package gnet needs package gnet equal to version 1.1.0-1 which cannot be found. Package gnet-devel needs package gnet equal to version 1.0.4 which cannot be found. Package monkeytalk needs package libgnet-1.0.so.0 which cannot be found.
Have you tried typing the above into http://fr2.rpmfind.net (I find fr2 has more SuSE specific packages). I had a similar problem but with different packages (scheme.rpm in particular).
Once you have those installed, Ximian should install fine, as you can see from my headers. :)
