Hello, I had sent a mail earlier also, but the problem which I am facing is still unresolved. I am using SuSE 6.4 ( 2.2.14 kernel )on my IBM ThinkPad 390E. My problem is date does not show correct time. I am at 5:30 Hrs East of GMT in TimeZone="Asia/Calcutta". I used YAST 2->System Administration->Set Time Zone->Asia/Calcutta. I have also said that the System Clock is set to Local time. I saw the changes in /etc/rc.config and TIMEZONE is set as Asia/Calcutta and the GMT="".When I reboot the machine, there the time is 5:30 Hrs ahead from the localtime. I would like to know where I am going wrong. I have compile the kernel, make xconfig, the Genral Setup->RTC shows local time is set to Yes.When I execute hwtosys --loactime it shows proper time. Can somebody tell me where the clock is being set wrong. Regards Vijay ----------------------------------------------- FREE!
