hey all, ok i've installed 10.3 hoping that my battle with my delta 66 sound card would go away. It didn't. the saga. fresh out of the box suse seen both cards my mac tumbler snd-powermac and my delta 66 snd-ice1712. it configured the tumbler and said it configured the delta 66 however the module snd-ice1712 didn't load and a mobprobe says it doesn't exist. This was the same thing that happened in 10.2. So i compiled alsa with ice1712 and then lost my tumbler module. So i recompiled the kernel to load both modules and that worked however i only got noise out of the delta 66. A grinding terrible noise. Although alsa says its fully supported. Now once or twice on reboots it would work fine but then go out again when i switched it to default card. this has been a real headache. Its a nice card and necessary for recording with my mac. If anyone has a clue of what to do let me know. Caleb -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
