No, not exactly. When bash is called as "sh", it tries as far as possible to behave like older unix shells. There are differences (although they shouldn't be relevant for most scripts)
Not being a fan of cli's, guess I'd better start if I need to install programs huh? I did realize yesterday/last night that there was a "." in front of one of the commands I was trying to run.
