O.k. gang, I got the BellSouth DSL service I mentioned previously. I'm running SUSE 8.0 Pro. The DSL modem (router) is a Westell modell and I'm using the ethernet connector. SUSE apparently sees it and sets it up as dsl0 at boot time. (1) Ran Yast - activated personal firewall, set Dial-On-Demand, set DNS addresses, and using PPPOe (2) Username & password are correct. (3) Do I need to setup routing also? Here's the connection attempt: Selection of new interface/provider "dsl0"/"DSL provider" succeeded. Starting connection.
