Usually it does not matter. The router (the spare one) typically will have a 4 port switch on the "output" side. Just connect the computer to one, and your problem router to another; if the router has an input port, leave it empty. The configuration of the spare router does not matter, because you are using it as switch. Set the computer to fixed IP, not auto. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
