Should I worry about this? Is my brand new 80gb disk going bad?
Do you also get messages about lost interrupts?
Not yet! <G> After I sent this email I had the disk crash again. When I did a hard boot the first time the bios did not find the disk. Then on the third reboot the bios got the disk but Linux was getting this error: Unable to read inode block With allot of different numbers. I'm really thinking about taking this disk back. I don't need these PIA from bad hard ware. I may just get my money back and use my old 6gb disk. I don't really need an 80gb HD, I just got greedy.<G> I even think that it would make my wife happy.
