I'm running OpenSuse 10.2 on one of my desktops, which also has a dvd writer. Lately, whenever I burn a data DVD with K3B, the program goes through all the motions as if it's correctly burning and verifying the DVD. Yet when I examine the disk that's been burned, Konqueror tells me the disk I just burned is blank. My Sony DVD DRive is working just fine, and if I boot to Windows, I can successfully burn a disk with Sonic Record. I have also tried burning a disk (all DVD-R) with GnomeBaker and I get the same result as with K3b. Does this mean the problem is with growisofs? When I look at the K3B site there seem to be many bugs all related to not being able to burn a dvd. Does anyone have a handle on this?
