For instance... It allows comparing logs between machines. If you have to sync files between computers, their correct timestamps are important, or you have to compare file contents to make sure. By the way, your machine IS (apparently) synced up to a second accuracy, I can tell that from here :-) (your email took took 14 seconds to reach my machine) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
