If I want to run yast2 in SuSE 7.3 I type 'sux' instead of 'su' in a terminal...enter root password and start yast2. hth Sun, 2002-04-28 at 06:47, Ulf Braathen wrote:
Thanks for your answer
What happens when I type kdesu yast2 in a console as 'normal' user is that the display for root admissin comes up. I type the password - and then nothing happens.
But I think I understand your explanation, but maybe there are more I have to do?
