Hello:
I have openSUSE 12.2 with LibreOffice Version: 4.1.5.3 from openSUSE libreoffice repo.
I would like 0s (zeros) to be visible in cells showing numbers. (If I enter a 0, I want it to be shown, not hidden.) I also would like to format number as # ### ### (eg 3 456 354).
I have set Tools=>Options=>LibreOffice Calc=>View=>Display: Zero values X (on)
When I enter 0 a cell, it is shown, but the number format is not # ### ### . If I set number format to # ### ### in Format cells=>Numbers=>Format code: # ### ###, the numbers are formatted correctly, but 0s become hidden/not shown.
How can I make 0s visible AND format numbers as # ### ###?
Have you tried setting the "Leading Zeroes" counter greater than 0 in the options section in the "Format Cells/Numbers"
Yes I tried but it did not make a change. But I experimented with the format "user defined" and found that # ### ##0 gives the format I want. That is, the last # sign is replaced with 0. I don't know if this setting has any side-effect, it seems to be working for now. Thanks!
