Then I'm afraid that we must advise people to install the traditional way with a separate /home partition, not a subvolume.
Do not TOUCH my partitions, do NOT make then the way you think they should be. They are MY partitions. I determine what they are, not you.
It is totally bass-ackwards logic to try and move users /home to a BRTFSK'ed up '/'.
Good grief Charlie Brown. (with openSuSE playing the role of Lucy jerking the football away....) Tone down, please. Or step up and come up with good proposals and help work on it.
