the city of Munich succeeded in getting the new Microsoft head quarter, that former was in Unterschleissheim: "by Sean Chan Sep 20, 2016 at 18:54 GMT Microsoft Germany today announced that its moving into a new headquarters. The companys new headquarters in Germany is now situated at Schwabing, which is a district of Munich. According to the official release, Microsoft Germany has 2700 workers. And in case you are wondering, the companys old HQ was at Unterschleissheim" Does anyone besides me see a connection to the decision to switch from Open Source to the Microsoft platform?
thanks jdd
