Ya, I did it. I used Konqueror to drag the update_for_7.0 directory to my /opt3 directory and then watched TV for about three hours as 450MB came down the wire. Then I ran YaST1 and selected my download dir as the source. Started at ../D2 and worked my way down the dir tree. SuSEConfig ran automatically at the end and set everthing up. It was painless. JLK
