3 to 4 is good for me personally. I would hate it if SuSE came out with stuff so often and so frequently that it got confusing. You'd have to check the specs of each release to see if there was a point in installing and pick which ones made changes that were worth going through the process of upgrading and which ones to get. To me that sounds tedious. No, I think the current SuSE formula is excellent.
