Yep, I've looked at it, (well actually emacs) but I keep getting lost when I try to do simple scripts. So for that I've been using the internal editor in mc. Haven't really looked at xemacs itself yet, but from what I understand, it is an excellent programming tool. Has a lot of built in capabilities as far as fomatting for different languages and things? I do know that I don't like "vi" very much, it kind of reminds me too much of the old dos edlin, except that at least with "vi" you do have the capability of looking at your entire page:=)
