Speaking of WEBMIN, where can a SuSE Linux user get the package? I would like to incoroprate it into several of my servers. Thanks for any information.
RPM package available @ http://www.webmin.com/webmin/download/rpm/webmin-0.87.rpm . I haven't tested it though. -- noodlez: Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 0x3A1446A0
I'm using it (-0.87) on two machines both with SuSE 7.2 and no problems, not that this constitutes testing. This is, and has been, a great tool for administering to remote and local machines. BTW, SuSE, it's standard fare on Mandrake and Caldera, hint, hint. ;-)
By the way, if you install the Perl-ssleay files (on the SuSE CD's) along with webmin, you can then turn on SSL support in webmin so that all your webmin sessions will be encrypted. Otherwise you'll be sending passwords in the clear if you're working remotely. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
