Hi, We use SuSE Linux on about 8 servers here, and we do on-line updates as often as needed. I have been thinking that having eight connections all downloading the same thing is a massive waste of bandwidth :) Is there anyway I can set up a YaST2 on-line update server so that my local servers update via that, this way I won't be wasting SuSE's and my own bandwidth. I know its an ftp server, but what files/folders would I need to copy from the server? I presume that I would need everything in ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/7.2 but are there any other files to actually tell on-line update whats new? Thanks in advance... -- Thanks Andrew McCall Internet System Administrator I.C.T.
