However after a reboot Network Manager is active and working as expected.
Hope this doesn't mean 13.2 will come with broken networking on first boot like 13.1 did. After the reboot does it come up every time on subsequent boots?
Yes, once NetworkManager is enabled in YaST2 it does come up every time showing "Wired Connection 1".
Should I report it as a bug?
You could but I fear if it's really another such bug it'll be too late now to get fixed for final release, the gold master is practically ready I believe. Another bug I've reported in the RC last week has gone unanswered. I can't believe they would have let the same bug creep in again a year on, though it does sound similar. Perhaps it's just your particular network card. I've found that with various issues over the years I've had to go into YaST Network Devices, switch to traditional ifup method and configure things there, then when that's working I can switch back to using Network Manager and all's well. I'd say report it only if you're able to reproduce it. Peter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
