Yast and zlib

Hi, I'm having trouble installing the security update to zlib via YOU. It downloads fine but as soon as it tries to install, it produces the error ERROR(InstTarget:E_RpmDB_subprocess_failed) I'm using 9.3 on a ASUS laptop. I've tried various download sites in case it was a corrupt file but they all give the same result. I've also tried a rpm --rebuildDB but its still the same. I only have 2 "alien" packages on my system Openoffice build 118 and opera (which i think installed via YaST) Does anyone have any clues where i can find a solution? thanks Ian
