Hello, I have a little time in Linux (6 months) and just completed my nite class of Intro to Unix, with that I would like to ask some questions. I have two different boxes here, one Linux RH 5.0(b) and just installed BSD 2.2.6 for the experience on my other machine. RH 5.0 provided a GUI from X, in root, called _netcfg_ that enabled me to log into my Netcom ISP which does not provide a static IP for me. It allowed entries for user name, password, primary and secondary DNS numbers, all of which Netcom asks you to use. Seeing that I log in fine, I am dying to find the location of the script it wrote to study for my learning. I also want to see if I can use the script on my other versions of Linux / Unix that I intend on trying. Any ideas. -- Bill Schoolcraft PO Box 210076 San Francisco CA 94121 <A HREF="http://www.netcom.com/~wiliweld"><A HREF="http://www.netcom.com/~wiliweld</A">http://www.netcom.com/~wiliweld</A</A>> -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
