OpenSuse Leap 15.0 with the KDE/Plasma desktop - The behavior of the command more has changed, it use to print out the number of lines to fill a konsole screen and then pause waiting for the user to hit the space bar and then continue to print out another konsole screen full of lines. Now it just prints on a single konsole screen full of lines and exits! What happened to more and can I fix it to go back to being the good ol more command that I loved so much? It works here. At least on XFCE. What version?

However, I never use "more", I use "less", which is more powerful than "more".
"more" works as I remember and expect here as to the utility of more and less, have a look at "most" -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
