My printer resides on a windows '98 machine. Sofar Yast2 has been unable to help me get it to work. On the other hand: sharing a printer between two windows '98 machines is also a pain to get to work. Something about encrypted passwords and such. Does anyone know how to get Linux to print on a printer connected to a windows '98 machine?
Pieter, have you check your connection: ping host_ip if it works try: smbclient -L host_name to get access to shared resources on the remote host Regards, -- Emcek emcek@poczta.onet.pl
