That happened at the end of the process, using K3B. Result: Failed.
Next i tried with a new disc but tried with the "Simulate" option and get a lot more:

Anybody seen this?, can it be a hardware problem?, K3B?, kernel?.

What is wodim/growisofs returning? On failing to burn a DVD/CD you will get some more meaningful error codes.
There is a rather useful article on PCBurn on Growisofs write errors.
