I have noted that when using the 9.2 install CD that postgresql is not listed as an installable option. It is not listed in yast as a package. Yet, using the 9.2 DVD it is. Why the difference?
Since 9.2 ther are packages on the DVD that are not on the CD's due to space limits on the CD's. Must be too much to include another CD.
As a second questions, 9.2 still seems to be distributing postgresql 7.4. The postgres group has released version 8. Would I be better off grabbing the rpm for version 8?
