The kssh client was dropped a few releases ago. I currently use Putty. I was wondering if there is a KDE or GNOME replacement for this. While Putty (http://www.putty.org/) is OK, I don't like a number of its aspects. --
I'm confused. why do you need a ssh client in linux?
Kssh is not a stand-alone ssh client, it integrates with Konsole to make it easier to create ssh sessions / tabs and to do so as the top-level shell. It also remembers all the configurations you've used to connect remotely including all ssh options used to further simplify connection establishment. It has a simple connection establishment dialog that appears when you select "Secure Shell" from the Konsole new-tab menu. For 11.0, packages are in "KDE:Community/openSUSE_11.0".
