I have been running Seamonkey for several years. However, one problem has turned up recently. After running for a few days, I can no longer send email or oepn a web page. While this is happening, I can still use Thunderbird & Seamonkey normally, so the problem has nothing to with my computer or Internet connection. Has anyone else experienced this?
Only on OS/2, which is why I stopped using it for much other than DOS and Chatzilla. In Linux I keep SM next browser and CZ windows open constantly, closing only for version updates or X session restarts, while SM current I close briefly for backup 6 days a week. I do have ipv6.disable=1 on cmdline and keep ipv6 entries out of hosts, and 3 Firefox sessions constantly open. Maybe what you're seeing is some sort of nameserver caching problem? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
