Sun

My LUG has just had a presentation from a guy from Sun Microsystems. I've never been at all enthused about Sun's plans in the Linux market, but he was quite convincing. One thing he did talk about was that Sun have dropped their own "Sun Linux", and are going to support 2 of the main Linux distro creators. He couldn't mention any names because the papers aren't being signed for a few more days, but he described a large US Linux vendor and a large European Linux vendor. Hmmm.
