Hi,
I have a problem when trying to use the ypchsh command, the error that follows is this: ogin shell [/bin/bash]: /bin/csh Error while changing the login shell. The login shell has not been changed.
Looks like you don't allow the user to change the shell. Read the manual page for rpc.yppasswdd.
In the /var/log/messages on the yp server is this : Jan 30 10:25:46 sagan kernel: fh_verify: //pazz permission failure, acc=1, error=13
What should a NFS message have to do with NIS ? Look for the messages from rpc.yppasswdd.
