Hi, i'm experiencing FS corruption on top of a USB from Transcend (StoreJet Elite 3.5") on OS 11.1@x86_64. It uses a JMicron controller and I've tried with XFS, Reiserfs and Ext3. Anybody have seen this?.
Yes. 2008-12-17: [Bug 460020] New: External USB disk (encrypted, reiserfs) gets corruption. 2009-02-01: [Bug 471382] New: External USB disk (encrypted, reiserfs) gets corrupted and becomes read-only. It appears on 11.0;, 10.3 and 11.1 are ok.
As writing with dd to the whole disk doesn't fail, i'm not sure how to report it....
Check if what you see is similar, and add to the report or create a new one. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
