The KDE PIM apps did not release with KDE SC 4.5.0 while they complete the port to Akonadi.
Do you mean the Save List button above select on Composer? This works except for two problems I reported as KDE Bugs 247881 and 247886. Is the a factory version of kaddressbook I can test?
There is a beta release of kdepim 4.5 in the Build Service but I'm intentionally not giving more details because it currently has more serious regressions in kmail than kaddressbook 4.4.5 does vs 4.3 - it's not suitable for production data yet. I'm working again on the 'throwback' packages which contain the older version of kaddressbook - other things got on top of me in the last couple of weeks.
