Often I prefer to look in build.opensuse.org and see if its even there. The search in the upper right corner of that page works really well.
In this case, it looks like there are about 17 different versions on OBS. (Many are likely copies of each other.)
One of which is the X11 version, but it currently is not building:

Ah, better but not being a builder (know about this but not familiar) and not having used the interface enough to bring it up, I am really unfamiliar. That will change.
But the "software.opensuse.org/search" is/has been available for several years now and is widely documented, should be widely known.
I think obs is better....
software.opensuse.org/search is either always out of date for factory, or it simply doesn't have factory in there. (I don't know which). For software.o.o/search you have to tell for which distribution to search - 12.1 is the default.
So if I want to know if a package is available in factory, I'm totally mislead by it. I've posted too many times complaints about packages missing from factory just to find out, its just the search that is missing it.
Argh, you mean the results do not include openSUSE:Factory? Yes, those seem to be excluded ;-( Perhaps time to file a bug...
Therefore I avoid it in general until I know what I'm looking for exists.
I use for searching in obs the command line: osc se package Works just fine ;) Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer,HRB16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
