Hello. I have created a perl script that must run every so often. The cron seems to run everything with /bin/sh I simply changed my rather simple script to accomodate this. But this can't be for real!!! I have some "heavy-duty" perl scripts that will be cron'd quite soon (today/tomorrow) Will changing the following in /etc/crontab work? SHELL=/bin/sh to: SHELL=/bin/bash or will my cron'd perl scripts still not work? Also... Why doesn't SuSE distribute the latest version of net-acct? it is now on V 0.7 which was released last year October (about) it's *VERY* useful proggie. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
