The icons on the desktop appear perfect, but in the "Kontrolleiste" (task bar?) some Icons are still missing (like kdewallet just shows a paper symbol with "?", and when I drag an application to the "Kontrolleiste" (like e.g. SeaMonkey) it's icon gets replaced by KDE's standard gearwheel.

Can you (or somebody else) direct me to where I should start searching for a solution?
Perhaps your $HOME/.kde directory is the problem. Maybe there is something there from older versions that is causing confusion. Try using a fresh one from login.

I tried, but the Screensaver still doesn't start and The icons for e.g. kdewallet in the systems tray disappear as soon as I change the "symbols" in KDE control center to any one. (they don't reappear after logging out an in again, too). (To test, I logged out as user, in as root, renamed .kde to .kde.saved, logged in as user again) The other symbols in the "Kontrolleiste" work after log out/in (even with old .kde). any more hints, please? thanks Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Switzerland professional photography: http://www.daniel-bauer.com special interest site: http://www.bauer-nudes.com -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
